2019 is going to be an amazing year for the stock market.

Of course, the term “amazing” may not mean the same to you as it does to me. You might be wildly bullish or bearish and just looking for an amazing move in one direction or the other.

Whereas, I just want a whole bunch of amazing moves. It doesn’t matter in which direction.

Think back to 2008, for example. Back then, we had these wild swings both up and down. While the general trend of the market was lower, there were plenty of short-term rallies – similar to what we saw in the market last week.

Technical conditions would drop to “amazingly” oversold levels. Then, the market would put on an “amazing” short-term rally – which would push the technical conditions into overbought territory. Then we’d get an “amazing” decline.

It was a wonderful time to be a trader.

Whenever the market’s proverbial rubber band stretches to extreme levels, traders have a chance to put on lower-risk, high-probability trades that can play out in just a few days, or even just a few hours. The number of opportunities to trade are… well… amazing.

Up until just recently, Mr. Market has been stingy with these sorts of lower-risk, high-probability trade setups. We just haven’t had the extreme conditions necessary to provide those kinds of trades.

2017 was a ridiculously low-volatility market. And while volatility has picked up in 2018, it has only been in the past two months or so that we’ve been hitting extreme conditions with any sort of frequency.

I expect this trend will continue, and we’ll be seeing extreme conditions develop all throughout 2019. Which means… the opportunity for traders to earn enormous profits next year will be amazing – if you have the right strategy.

On Thursday, I’m going to show you the right strategy.

My team and I are putting together a special presentation to share with you. We’re going to pull back the curtain, and – for the first time ever – show you how I go about finding my trading ideas, how I evaluate risk and probability, how I select which options to trade, how I determine the length of time it will take for a trade to play out, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

We’ve never done anything like this before. And, to my knowledge, I don’t know of anyone else who has offered to share the full details of their trading strategies.

But, we’re heading into what I think will be an amazing year for traders. And I want you to be prepared for it.

So, I’m showing you my cards. Heck, I’m even going to make a live trade in my own account – on camera. And I’ll offer up a few trading ideas I have my eyes on right now that may trigger in the days ahead.

If you’ve profited off of my advice here in the Market Minute over the past two years, then you’ll definitely profit by hearing my presentation on Thursday evening.

Today in the mailbag, three common questions about Jeff’s upcoming Mastermind… and their answers.

Hello Jeff, thanks for the opportunity to learn from your profound experience. As I was thinking about this course (and having traded using charts in the past), I was wondering if you would be able before the kickoff to provide us with tools that would be necessary for the task, such as suggested chart packages. I know not all charting apps are equal. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Will the students of Mastermind have the videos after the quarter? I’m sure I will need to review them. Thank you.

– Cherda

I live in California (you do too?) Why 8:30 a.m.? Hopefully this is California time? Please advise, I’m hungry to learn!

– Mildred

Editor’s note: Thank you all for your interest in Jeff’s Mastermind. Let’s start with Alain’s question…

Any subscribers to Jeff’s Mastermind will be greeted with a slew of welcome materials, including…

  1. A technical analysis guide, full of Jeff’s favorite technical indicators and chart patterns that he uses every single trading day.
  2. A StockCharts startup guide, which will show you how to create charts exactly like the ones Jeff uses in Market Minute and Delta Report.
  3. A technical indicators startup guide, which will show you how to effectively use Jeff’s technical indicators with the StockCharts platform.
  4. A video of Jeff’s recent presentation at the Legacy Investment Summit, which up until could only be accessed by attendees.

Now, on to Cherda’s question… All of Jeff’s Mastermind sessions will be available to review on the Mastermind portal of Jeff’s website, which you’ll be able to access as a subscriber, for life.

Last, we’ll address Mildred’s question… The first Mastermind session will take place on Wednesday, December 12, at 8:30 a.m. ET for about 20-30 minutes. Going forward, the sessions will take place three times a week, and not always at 8:30 a.m. Some sessions may take place on weekends, or after trading hours.

But most importantly, these sessions will be available for you to view anytime as a Mastermind subscriber.

Keep sending in your questions about the Mastermind to [email protected].
