Mike’s Note: Jeff Brown has made fortunes investing in the wireless revolution. And as his colleague, I know that when he talks… it pays to listen.

That’s because Jeff has connections in Silicon Valley’s inner circle… so he often has the inside track on big tech news before it hits the mainstream media. And Jeff’s latest prediction is that 5G, the next generation of wireless network, will be the most profitable investment opportunity of the next decade.

Read on to see why everyday investors still have a chance to make their fortunes on this megatrend before all the other “smart money” piles in…

We are entering the era of 5G…

Cities around the world are “lighting up” with these revolutionary networks.

In Europe, there are now more than 300 live 5G deployments. South Korea has 5G in 174 cities, covering practically the whole country’s population. Even Australia has gone live with 5G in 12 cities.

In the United States, 43 cities – including New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. – are live with 5G.

All told, there are now 854 5G deployments worldwide.

For investors, we’re reaching a critical juncture. We are about to enter what I call “the final phase of the 5G boom.”

Today, I want to show you this final phase. And I’ll reveal why it will bring the biggest gains from the 5G revolution…

Revolutionary Upgrade

The 5G network rollout represents a revolutionary upgrade for our wireless technology. 5G speeds will be, on average, 100 times faster than today’s 4G speeds.

And our own 5G field test confirms this. Take a look at the video below.

This demonstration comes to you from the Minneapolis area, where early 5G services are live. One of my analysts visited the Mall of America to get a firsthand look.

And as you can see, download speeds eclipsed 700 megabits per second (Mbps). The peak speed was 717 Mbps.

For comparison, the global average 4G speed is 10 Mbps.

That means that this early demonstration of 5G in Minneapolis is 72 times faster than the global average.

And keep in mind, the 5G network isn’t fully built out yet. Download speeds will likely reach 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) once the network is complete.

The coverage won’t always be perfect. But by the end of 2020, we’ll wonder how we ever survived without 5G speeds.

It would be like internet users today looking back at dial-up internet connection over phone lines after years of fast, broadband connections.

That’s why I say 5G isn’t just evolutionary. It’s revolutionary. And it will arrive in three phases…

Phases 1 and 2

The first phase of the 5G rollout is wireless network infrastructure. Think of this as the foundation of 5G.

Every month, cities around the world go live with 5G wireless networks. Heavily trafficked areas are first.

Think major tourist spots, arenas, and business districts. Even influential spots like the White House are 5G-enabled now.

Once the network infrastructure is in place, we move into Phase 2, the devices phase.

This is when companies launch 5G-enabled devices that can run on these networks. Most people don’t know this, but every smartphone on earth – all 3.3 billion of them – won’t work on 5G networks. Consumers will have to buy new 5G devices.

And we’re already seeing these products hit the market. Here are the 5G devices for sale today:

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

  • LG V50 ThinQ

  • Huawei Mate 20 X 5G

  • Oppo Reno 5G

  • Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G

  • ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G

  • ZTE Nubia X 5G

  • Motorola 5G Moto Mod

Expect to see more 5G devices in the months ahead. Apple has already confirmed that it will launch 5G-enabled iPhones in late 2020.

So Phases 1 and 2 are well underway. And very soon, we will enter the final phase of the 5G boom. That is when I expect the largest and fastest returns from 5G.

The Final Phase

Phase 3 – the final phase – of the 5G boom is the rollout of 5G services.

I’m talking about entirely new applications that will take advantage of the lightning-fast 5G speeds. And history shows that this is the most significant part of any wireless rollout.

Phase 3 of the 4G rollout took place around the middle of the decade. With 4G, mobile speeds were finally fast enough to give us services we take for granted today.

Ride-hailing companies like Uber and Lyft weren’t possible on 3G networks. The speed and bandwidth simply weren’t good enough.

FaceTime video calls with friends and family also weren’t possible over 3G networks. 4G enabled video calls.

It also enabled services like GoToMeeting and Webex. These services are useful for the business world, especially when team members are working at different locations.

Even Facebook took advantage of Phase 3 of the 4G rollout.

Many people don’t know this, but 96% of Facebook’s users access the site over mobile devices. Thanks to 4G networks, scrolling through your Facebook feed on a smartphone became a seamless experience.

If it weren’t for the 4G networks, these companies either would not exist… or they’d be a fraction of the size they are today.

But 5G has incredible performance gains in speed and radically reduced latency (1/100th of the delay compared to 4G). 5G wireless networks will enable services that are just not possible over current 3G or 4G networks.

I’m talking about applications that might seem like science fiction today.

One day soon, we will see fleets of self-driving and remotely controlled semi trucks rolling down the highway.

Surgeons will operate on patients thousands of miles away by controlling robotic arms.

And one day, you will “holo-commute” to work. A holographic projection of you will be “beamed into” your next meeting.

All told, 5G will deliver more than $12 trillion in wealth. It’s not just another so-so network upgrade. 5G represents a new era of technological innovation.

Industries will be disrupted. Entirely new ones will be launched. And yes, fortunes will be made.

I can’t think of a better time to be a 5G investor.

With cities around the world lighting up with 5G networks every month, the awareness of 5G is starting to hit the mainstream.

Institutional funds, hedge funds, and other smart money will start to invest heavily in companies that will benefit from the 5G wireless boom.

Everyday investors have a rare opportunity to invest before that happens. That time is right now.

P.S. For investors looking for a “final phase” 5G company, I recommend you take a close look at one. This company is actually the No. 1 5G company on my watchlist.

I revealed the name of this 5G company last Thursday during a free webinar. If you missed it, don’t worry – I’ve asked my publisher to make a replay available right here. I’ll give you all the details on this top company and more. But you’ll want to act fast. This video gets taken down at midnight. Click here.
